The Dutch Telegraph reported that Serie A team Bologna made an offer of 15 million euros to Alkmaar, hoping to sign 20-year-old striker Ruben Van Bomer.

Bologna hopes to close the deal as soon as possible to avoid competition from other interested clubs. Alkmaar is expected to demand a higher transfer fee, as Ruben is the son of former Dutch national midfielder Mark Van Bomel.
