French national team coach Deschamps accepted an exclusive interview with Italian media "Milan Sports" and talked about some of his plans to leave office after the World Cup.

Mbappe, Dembele, Douai, Balcola, Olise, Muani, Cherki, are these the strongest forward line you have ever had since served as head coach of the national team?

Deschamps: "They have this potential, but they need to win the championship and stay stable to prove it. Griezmann was not overnight. "Is there any risk to announce his departure before the World Cup?

Deschamps: "This won't change anything. My contract expired before the Qatar World Cup, and I know I'll leave when I renew my contract in January 2023. Even if we're playing the sixth semi-final since 2012, the media environment is always full of negative atmosphere and it may have an impact on the players. So I clarified my position. I don't need to live in the spotlight, but I'm sure I won't retire after leaving the national team." Is it possible to go back to Juventus and make up for my mistakes when I was young?

Deschamps: "I don't think about this now, and it's not the same job anymore. Juventus is very important to me. I returned in a difficult time and left in 2007 because I thought that was the right choice at the time. But in hindsight, it was not the case. Do you give Zidane any advice? He is regarded as your successor.

Deschamps: "And it's not easy to lead three different teams to the championship. Are he sure he will stay?
