Real Madrid TV fires: Barcelona opponents have 1 yellow for every 3.8 fouls, while Real Madrid opponents have 16 fouls
The number of fouls required for each yellow card for La Liga team opponents
In the new episode, Real Madrid TV compared the number of fouls and yellow cards of each team. Among them, Real Madrid's opponents will only get 1 yellow card if they make an average of 16 fouls, La Liga the most, and Real Madrid will get 1 yellow card for every 6.6 fouls; while Barcelona's opponents will get 1 yellow card if they make an average of 3.8 fouls, La Liga the least.
In the Real Madrid vs. Espanyol, Espanyol made 20 fouls but not a single yellow card, while Real Madrid made 10 fouls and received 2 yellow cards. During the game, Espanyol player Dolan pedaled Carreras's calf from behind and did not take the card, which caused strong protests from Real Madrid's bench. In the first five rounds of La Liga, Real Madrid's opponents only received 4 yellow cards in total, three times because of fouls and one time protesting the referee, which is in sharp contrast to Real Madrid's almost 6 fouls to get 1 yellow card.
