Leipzig officially announced that Goztabi striker Romulo will join, and the two sides will sign the contract until 2030. In the new season, Romulo will wear the No. 40 jersey.

Romulo is 1.93 meters tall and is a player trained by Brazilian club Malinga FC. In January 2024, he transferred to Goztabi and scored 5 goals and made 3 assists in the next season, helping the team successfully upgrade to the Turkish Super League. He scored 17 goals and sent 10 assists in his debut season in Türkiye's top league.
