According to transfer expert Romano, Newcastle has raised its offer and hopes to sign Jaf from AC Milan.

Romano wrote on social media: "Newcastle has improved the offer for Jaffe to AC Milan because they have agreed with the players on personal terms."

"Milan coach Allegri wants to keep Jaffe, but negotiations between clubs are underway and Newcastle has submitted a higher offer."
