Scaroni: Building a new stadium is not to sell clubs. The second half is just beginning
AC Milan and Inter Milan have obtained approval from the Milan City Council to transfer ownership of San Siro, and AC Milan president Scaroni guaranteed that the construction of a new stadium was not for the sale of the club.
Scaroni has been leading the new stadium project as the current AC Milan president for six years. Now the Milan City Council has approved the transfer of San Siro and surrounding areas to Inter Milan and AC Milan. Now the two clubs can start the construction of the new stadium project.
Scaroni told the Evening Post: "The first half ended and we were leading, but now the second half is beginning."
At the same time, Scaroni also refuted the statement that the new stadium was built to sell the club.
