Gobert: Teammates are becoming more mature. It s really fun to see this kind of growth
Recently, Timberwolves player Gobert talked about the changes in his teammates in the show "The Young Man and The Three".
Gobert said: "I think when I first came to the Timberwolves a few years ago, I wanted to bring this winning culture into the organization. You know, we had a lot of very talented young players at the time, but they couldn't keep winning. But in my heart, I knew we had all the conditions to do it. So, yes, I tried to lead by example and be the kind of person who led everyone with role models and try to make us the top defensive team in the league. I think that's my primary goal, and it won't be too distracting."
"Also, I want to show them that I think a professional player in the NBA should What to have and why doing this helps them to have their careers as long as possible and learn and improve. Most of them are outside the core content, but I think that's what the team needs. Now, I feel like we have a group of players who really know each other. They are no longer those teenagers in the past. They were teenagers back then, and now, they are more of the kind of people I can see that they can be mentors for young players. They have another dimension on the psychological level and are more open-minded. I think they all understand what it takes to win. It's really fun to see this growth and be a part of it."
