Former NBA star Divac injured his hip in a motorcycle accident
According to ESPN, former NBA star Divac suffered a hip fracture in a motorcycle accident in Montenegro.
The doctor said on Friday local time that Divac had undergone emergency surgery and had an artificial hip implant, and his condition is currently stable.
Divat, 57, is the first player to be born outside the United States and train but play more than 1,000 games in the NBA, playing mainly for the Lakers and the Kings in his career. In 2019, he was inducted into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame. He also served as chairman of the Serbian Olympic Committee twice. In addition, he served as general manager for the King.
