The World Sports reported that La Liga may announce the injury ruling of Ter Stegen as early as Tuesday or Wednesday.

La Liga has obtained a medical report after the operation of Ter Stegen. The document with the authorization of the Barcelona captain was signed and confirmed by the player himself on Friday night. It is now beginning to enter the countdown to the La Liga Medical Committee, which consists of four senior trauma experts, namely Dr. Fernandez Jahn, Barrow Pasos, Perez Saint-Rock and Aldevore. According to World Type, each expert usually needs 2 to 4 days to review the materials submitted by Barcelona and issue opinions. In most cases, the committee's opinions were consistent. According to this calculation, La Liga may receive a conclusion and forward it to Barcelona as early as Tuesday or Wednesday. A plenary meeting is required to make a final ruling only if one of the three experts issues an adverse report, which is extremely rare but will result in a delay in the publication of the results.

As stated by the World Sports previously, the Medical Committee has the right to summon players to conduct a face-to-face examination. According to regulations, when there are contradictions or unclear medical reports or supplementary test results, the La Liga Professional League Medical Committee may subscribe the players for re-examination, and the club must submit the required supplementary materials through official channels.

It should be noted that although August 15 is a public holiday, this does not affect the direct communication between La Liga and the club, especially considering the urgency of the league to open this weekend and the first round of players registration.

Once the ruling is announced, Barcelona will have 20 natural days (excluding holidays and weekends) to apply to register with Joan-Garcia using Ter Stegen's salary space. The club will decide to use a 50% or 80% quota based on the ruling results. If Ter Stegen's injury period is clearly determined to be more than five months, Barcelona can use its 80% salary.
