Barcelona Football Club and player Voiceh Szczesni have reached an agreement on renewal, and the new contract will allow him to play in the club until June 30, 2027.

This contract renewal stems from the goalkeeper's outstanding performance last season. He had previously accidentally joined the team and replaced Mark Andre Terstegan, who had been absent due to injury for a long time. Barcelona urgently needed a goalkeeper and finally chose Szczesni. The Polish goalkeeper returned to take on the challenge after retirement in the summer. Szczesni proved with practical actions that he is still one of the top goalkeepers in European football.

Schchensny retired in August 2024, and Intel Stegen suffered a knee injury. He returned to join Barcelona in October 2024. Szczesni played 30 games for Barcelona last season and completed 14 clean sheets, helping the team win the La Liga title, the King's Cup and the Spanish Super League championship.
