According to Juventus's team reporter Mirko Di Natale, Juventus arranged new talks with Portuguese Sports to negotiate Alberto Costa's transfer.

The reporter wrote: "There are still differences in asking and quotations between Juventus and Portuguese on Alberto Costa's transfer fee, but the two sides are expected to arrange new talks to continue negotiations."
