After the French media RMC, after Mbappe filed a charge of mental harassment against Paris, the Paris prosecutor's office told AFP that a judicial investigation against unidentified persons had been launched on Tuesday.

According to sources close to the case, two pretrial judges have been appointed to investigate Mbappe's allegations.

Mbappe filed a complaint in Paris on May 16, accusing him of suffering mental harassment and attempting to extort, and in particular condemned his practice of being placed on the bench by Paris in the summer of 2023. This approach to marginalizing players has sparked multiple investigations in Paris.

Previously, after female football player Keira Hamravi filed a complaint against Paris in May, the relevant legal procedures were handed over to the Personal Crime Investigation Team (BRDP) for processing. According to sources close to the case, Kayla Hamravi claimed that Paris marginalized it after it recovered to force it to leave the team.

Paris is not the only club to be subject to such a charge. As early as January 2024, the Federation of Professional Football Players filed a lawsuit against an unknown person, accusing the establishment of such a bench to deliberately marginalize certain players of clubs guilty of mental harassment and extortion.

In addition to the criminal proceedings, there is still a financial dispute between Mbappe and Paris.
