Early this morning, Inter Milan lost 0-1 to AC Milan in the Milan Derby. After the game, Ranocchia commented on the game.

Ranocchia said: "If the roles of the goalkeepers on both sides were reversed, Inter Milan might have won, but Inter Milan lost because they failed to seize the opportunities they created. Two goal posts, a lot of important offensive organizations, AC Milan performed very well because they have important players and a good coach."

"In my opinion, AC Milan is not ready to compete for the Serie A championship this year. At the team level, even if they have one less game than their opponents, I don’t think they are ready.”

β€œInter Milan? They played their own game as always. They created a lot of offensive organization and put many players into the attack. They suffered counterattacks because they were attacking and they had to try to reduce the loss of goals and they needed to strengthen their prevention work because they created more opportunities.”
