Post: Fulham wants to sign back to Paligna on loan, but salary is a big obstacle

The Daily Mail reported that Fulham wanted to sign back to Paligna.

A year ago, Fulham sold 29-year-old Paligna to Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich for £48 million, but under Kompany, his playing time is quite limited.

Although the player himself wants to win a position, the Bundesliga champion is willing to listen to other teams' offers. Several Premier League clubs, including Fulham, are interested in introducing him on loan, but his salary may become a barrier.

Paligna was absent from injury for more than two months during his debut season in the Bundesliga. He has lost all 17 appearances in various competitions and may be about to return to the Premier League.

The Portuguese international joined the farmer in the summer of 2022 and scored 8 goals in 79 games. The deal to join Bayern in 2023 was dramatically broken, and the Bundesliga overlord finally signed him as he wished a year later.

29-year-old Palinia won the UEFA Nations League championship with Portugal this month, but played in the semi-finals and finals for only one minute.

Fulham has not launched large-scale signings this summer, but has announced that many players have left the team. 13 players including William and Carlos Vinicius will leave the team after their contracts expire this month.
