German media Bild revealed that Liverpool has submitted its first offer to Leverkusen for Wilz, with a total offer of more than 130 million euros.

reported that the quotation structure submitted by Liverpool to Leverkusen is: a fixed transfer fee of 100 million pounds, plus an additional bonus of 10 million to 12 million pounds. The total price is 110 million to 112 million pounds, equivalent to between 1305 and 133 million euros.

The two sides have not reached an agreement yet and negotiations are underway. Leverkusen asked for 150 million euros, while Liverpool tried to lower the price to around 135 million euros.

As for the additional bonus clauses in the contract, some of the goals are easier to achieve, such as qualifying for the Champions League, while others are more difficult, such as winning the Champions League championship.

When Havertz transferred to Chelsea in 2020, Leverkusen received almost all 100 million euros bonuses. Because in addition to the basic transfer fee of 80 million euros, Chelsea triggered a very high floating bonus clause after winning the Champions League.

Given that Liverpool and Leverkusen's overall offer are not very different, the two sides are likely to reach an agreement quickly.
