On Thursday local time, Frankfurt officially announced a professional contract with 18-year-old young goalkeeper Amir Silevic.

Frankfurt officially announced that the club signed a professional contract with Silevic. The goalkeeper joined Frankfurt youth training at the age of 9 in 2016, where he played for all levels of echelons.

In the 24/25 season, the 1.9-meter-high goalkeeper made 19 appearances for U19, seven of which remained clean and entered the quarter-finals of the German Youth Championship with U19. Next season, he will be promoted to the U21 in the regional league. Timmo Hardung, sporting director, said: "Amil, a native of Frankfurt, is a symbol of the route we pursue in the youth training academy. He has made significant progress over the past year, and this has been reflected in his performance at U19 and his regular professional team training. We firmly believe that he will continue this growth in the U21 through his adult group competitions."
