Modric, who is preparing for the Croatian national team, talked about the Milan club he joined this summer in an interview.

Modric said: "This adaptation phase is very important to me. I can only say good things to Milan: the clubs, teams, teammates, and coaches all welcome me in the best way. I am excited about the size and organization of the Milan club, which is one of the greatest clubs in the world, although our results are not yet at the level of the 1990s or the early 2000s."

Modric quickly became the main force of the team after joining Milan, serving as Milan's starting midfielder in the first two rounds of Serie A and also assisted once.
