L Equipe: Monaco has sacked coach Hütter after previous attempts to contact Terzic were rejected
According to L'Equipe, Monaco has fired coach Hutter and the club is looking for a successor.
In the past two seasons, Hütter led Monaco to qualify for the Champions League twice and achieved second and third place respectively in Ligue 1. However, Monaco's mediocre start to the season and strained relations with the players eventually led to his departure. Hütter's assistants Christian Paintinger and Klaus Schmidt also left.
In order to find a new head coach, Monaco contacted Terzic, but he rejected the invitation. Currently, the club is considering appointing San Giros coach Poconioli as the team's new coach. Monaco is currently fifth in Ligue 1, with 13 points after seven games. The club has yet to comment on the matter.
