Romano announced with the iconic HereWeGo that former Danish coach Jurmand will coach Leverkusen to replace Tenghach.

The 53-year-old coach has reached an agreement with the club to replace Tenhager, and the contract has been finalized✍🏻 He will lead the team to practice within 48 hours and participate in Friday's game.

Tenhach signed with Leverkusen in May this year and took office as coach in July, but the Bundesliga started with 1 draw and 1 loss. Leverkusen officially announced the dismissal of Tenhach on September 1, and he was in office for only 62 days.

Jurmand is 53 years old and a Danish coach. He has coached the North Zealand, Mainz and the Denmark national team. He has been unemployed since resigning from the Denmark team in July 2024.
