According to ESPN, Paris Saint-Germain draws inspiration from the success of the newly built advanced venue in Los Angeles and begins planning to build a new home stadium.

PSG CEO Victoriano Melero said the club has begun considering leaving the 48,000-person Princes Stadium and will study the location of the new stadium in the coming year, such as Masi and Poissi.

"The next challenge is to build a new stadium," Melero said in an interview with Reuters in Los Angeles. “We’re going to do a year-long analysis to make choices for the future, and we’re inspired by the sports facilities in the United States.”

“An example here is the SoFi Stadium. It’s amazing, not just a sports facility—it’s really part of entertainment and performances. That’s how we want to drive diversified revenue.”

The $5 billion SoFi Stadium opened in 2020 and is home to the NFL Rams and Chargers, and has also held concerts with artists like Taylor Swift and Beyoncé. It will play a key role in next year's World Cup and the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.

Located in Hollywood Park, a growing commercial and residential area, the stadium has 70,000 seats and is uniquely designed. Next to the stadium is the Intuit Dome, the high-tech NBA arena opened last year.

Paris Saint-Germain is considering Massi in the south of Paris and Poissi in the west as potential locations for the new stadium. During the construction of the new stadium, the team will continue to play at Princes Park Stadium.

French Consul General in Los Angeles Adrian Frier said that American fans and investors played an important role in the success of Paris Saint-Germain on and off the field.

"Paris Saint-Germain is known as a unicorn in the field of technology and fashion, and this unicorn has some American descent."

It is estimated that Paris Saint-Germain has five million fans in the United States and has benefited greatly from its high-profile cooperation with Nike's Air Jordan brand. United States-based Arctos Partners holds 12.5% of the team, while major shareholder Qatar Sports Investment holds the remaining 87.5% and the club's valuation reaches $4.4 billion.
