Marseille coach De Zerbi was interviewed recently and talked about team defender Pavard.

Pavard has been struggling since the international break in October. He must improve his game level before he can hope to return to the French national team and participate in next summer's World Cup.

Talking about this player, De Zerbi said: "I can't explain everything. If we just talk about the performance of the game, we had been playing well before the game against Lens. The battle in Lisbon was a blow to us because Sporting CP did not create many chances. The situation in Lens was quite similar, we had to maintain a balance between offense and defense."
