According to reports, the Argentina team’s match in India on November 17 has been postponed because the match has not yet been approved by FIFA, and the event sponsor responded to this matter.

Sponsor Anto Augustine came forward to clarify. He denied the allegations of irregularities in the stadium renovation project and said that the stadium will be completed and handed over on November 30.

He revealed that neither he nor the relevant parties knew before that the venue for the match had not been approved by FIFA. He only learned of this after contacting FIFA officials, and he took over the stadium in the hope of obtaining FIFA approval through renovations.

Augustine insisted that he did not take money from anyone and said that the 700 million rupees spent on renovations was a service and not for profit.

He announced a new plan: he will continue to work hard to host a friendly match for the Argentina team in India next March. If that fails, he will try hard to bring Messi alone to Kerala.
