All market: Roma is interested in Leipzig winger Elmas, with the opponent s estimated price of 15 million to 18 million euros
According to the market-wide report, Roma is interested in Leipzig's left winger Elmas, and the opponent asks for 15 million to 18 million euros.
Roma recently turned his attention to Elmas, the 1999-born Macedonian player who performed well during his loan at Torino last season, scoring four goals in 13 games.
After the end of last season, Turin did not choose to buy out Elmas due to economic reasons, because he would have to pay 17 million euros to buy out from Red Bull Leipzig, which is too high for Turin.
But Elmas' second appearance in Serie A did not disappoint, which also opened the door for his transfer to another Serie A club as Roma coach Gasperini is looking for a player who can play on the left.
Hermas' contract with Red Bull Leipzig is valid until June 30, 2028. He joined Leipzig from Napoli for 24 million euros in January 2024. However, in Leipzig, Hermas has not found enough opportunities to play and stable performance, so he joined Turin on loan last season's winter window.
Now that Elmas is entering the transfer market again, Roma is considering introducing him. Among Dybala, Sulei and Bardanzi, Roma lacks a right-footed player who can start from the left wing and cut in the middle, and a player who can also serve as midfielder if necessary.
Elmas has this characteristic, and Leipzig's estimate of him is between 15 million and 18 million euros.
