AC Milan Club officially announced that the team signed defender Esturpinian from Brighton, and the new player will wear the No. 2 jersey.

The official announcement is as follows: "AC Milan is pleased to announce that the player has signed Ecuadorian defender Esturpinian in a permanent transfer from Brighton Football Club, the player has signed with the Ross and Blacks until June 30, 2030.

Born in Esmeraldas, Ecuador on January 21, 1998, Esmeraldas, Ecuador, began his football career in the youth training system of the University of Sport of Quito and made his debut for the team in September 2015. Since then, he has played 45 times for the University of Sport of Quito.

Subsequently, he played for Granada, Almeria, Mallorca and Osasuna, and eventually joined Villarreal. During his time in the Yellow Submarine, he played 74 times and won the UEFA Cup with the team.

In the summer of 2022, he transferred to Brighton and scored 5 goals in 104 games. Esturpinian has played for the Ecuador national team since 2019, and has made 48 appearances for the national team so far and have scored 4 goals.

Esturpinian will wear the No. 2 jersey. "
