Shams reported that according to ESPN reports, the Celtics will sign Ron Harper Jr. to a two-way contract, his agent Drew Gross of WME Basketball revealed.

Harper earned a spot on the Celtics lineup with his outstanding preseason performance.

In August, reporter Keith Smith reported that Ron Harper Jr. signed an Exhibit 10 training camp contract with the Celtics.

Ron Harper Jr. is 24 years old, 193cm tall and 103kg in weight. He plays the role of small forward on the court. His father, Ron Harper, has won five championship trophies with the Bulls and Lakers. His younger brother, Dylan Harper, was the second pick of the Spurs this year.

Ron Harper Jr. performed well in the Development League team affiliated with the Pistons last season, averaging 16.2 points, 3.9 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game, and shooting 39% from three-point range.
