Warriors' Officer today posted a video of Curry's answer that he turned back in advance and the origin of three points.

"The origin of three-pointers in advance is not something that was designed or arranged in advance. Some of them were like real-time reactions. I think it came from the first round of the 2013 playoffs, G3 (actually G4). In the third quarter, I shot a three-pointer in front of their bench. I remember McGee screaming behind me when I was shooting. I didn't like what they said. I was shooting at the time and it felt good to shoot, so I shot, then turned and looked at their bench and walked away. Since then, I seemed to have been doing this selectively." Curry said.

In the 2013 series of Warriors against the Nuggets, Curry's first playoff journey, he scored 22 points in the third quarter of G4, including this early three-pointer in front of the Nuggets bench. In the end, the Warriors defeated the Nuggets 4-2 and advanced to the second round.
