According to previous reports, former DPOY Marcus Smart will sign a two-year, $11 million contract with the Lakers.

Smart previously played for the Wizards, and joining the Lakers this time means that he will become another player wearing the battle jerseys of two rivals of the Celtics and the Lakers. Previously, Rondo and Thomas Jr. also played for both teams.
