Seth: I was labeled as a veteran when I was 32 or 33 years old. When I got to the Warriors, I felt like a young man.
Warriors new player Seth Curry accepted an interview with the media. Xiaoba compiled some of the interviews as follows:
Reporter: Do you think you will also be involved in discussions like "veterans" when you are 35 years old?
Seth: This is actually quite interesting because a few years ago, when I first got the chance, I was in Charlotte, which was a young team, and it was the opposite of here. It was the COVID-19 pandemic at that time, and I was labeled as a "veteran" when I was 32 or 33 years old. But when I got here, I felt like one of the young people, which was quite interesting.
Reporter: You really worked hard all the way to make your career, from losing the election in Duke to going to Virginia, and finally gaining a foothold. But I remember you have played for 9 teams and 11 seasons. What does it feel like to be a "newcomer" all the time?
Seth: This is reality. I'm quite comfortable in this situation and I've been able to adapt. Throughout my career, I have been proud to be able to adapt to different environments and perform. No matter what the situation is, I can play well in almost every place I have been to. So when I stand on the court, whether it’s the coach I’ve played for, the fans watching me play every night, or my teammates, I can contribute in almost any environment. As I said, I feel good. Like I said, I am very confident in adapting to different coaches, different teams and different styles of games.
