Today, Lakers forward James attended the media day of the new season and was interviewed by the media.

When asked if he had something to do with a new idea about his future career this summer, James said: "I think the chapter that was revealed is competitiveness and how difficult it is to prepare for a season. If you look at the offseason trends in our league, you can see some of the signings in the league, especially in the West. The West is very difficult and competitive. That's great. We don't want anything else, we just want to go out and compete with some of the best teams and people to understand why you are fighting. I've watched a lot of European Championships this offseason, and of course the big reason is because Luca (Doncic) played, and I want to see how he performed with Slovenia. But my love and passion for the game made me excited."
