Today Trail Blazers GM Joe Cronin was interviewed and talked about Lillard while looking forward to the team's future.

Speaking of chasing Lillard, Cronin said: "It's been a very smooth progress when he learned that Lillard was leaving the Bucks. Changxi and I met him several times. We know that each other's goals are very similar."

Looking to the future of the team, Cronin said: "It's time for the Trail Blazers to win. Changxi and I have been saying that since last season."
