Chasing Dreams: Missing Oakland and Oracle Arena, Black Eight is one of the most important moments in Warriors history

Today, Warriors player Dream Green recalled Oracle Arena on his channel "The Dream Green Show".
Recalling the team's final game at Oracle Arena in Oakland, he said: "Those jerseys were so cool. The last game at Oracle Arena was really sweet and bitter. I still have photos on my phone of me and my daughter and my wife on the baseline. But you know, after moving to San Francisco, everyone was very excited about the new arena and stuff. But man, that meant leaving Oakland. I loved Oakland. Wearing that 'We Believe’ jersey, it’s so hot.”
“You know, that team before us was one of the biggest moments in Warriors history, so put those jerseys on and honor Jason Richardson, Baron Davis, Ma. T. Barnes and Stephen Jackson, it's a love thing because we're the kind of people who don't sit around and say, 'Oh, but they're not us, so we're not paying tribute to them.' No, it's love." I spent the first seven years of my career in Oakland, which will always have a special place in my heart. The fans at Oracle Arena were just deafening. I still remember other teams calling and saying, 'Man, they're definitely in the arena. It’s got loudspeakers in it. ’ It’s not like that, these fans are just naturally loud, man. So I’m really grateful for all the good times I’ve had at Oracle, and it’s great to say goodbye to this arena.”
