According to Warriors reporter Jordan Elliott, Post's absence from the Summer League was due to a sudden attack of an ankle injury.

This is an injury Post has been dealing with in the second half of the 2024-25 season. Obviously, the Warriors are unwilling to take the risk of letting the shooter play in the summer league.

It is reported that Post has been training while watching the game in Las Vegas.

In 42 games in his rookie season, Post averaged 8.1 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game, with a three-point shooting percentage of 40.8%.
