Recently, famous talker Bill Simmons talked about the deal between the Nets and the Nuggets. He believes that from the Nets' perspective, this is one of the worst deals in the past decade.

In this deal, the Nets sent Cameron Johnson to exchange for Porter Jr. and the 2032 first-round draft pick.

"I have increasingly felt that this is one of the worst deals in a decade in the past five days," Simmons said. "You have to add a draft pick to get rid of Porter's contract, which is equivalent to giving away Cameron Johnson for free."

"I think Porter cannot trade unless you change to a player like Bill, with a two-year contract of 78 million, and his back and shoulders are injured. I think he is only worth $15-20 million. For the Nuggets, Porter is an obstacle to the improvement of the lineup. They will not trade Murray, Jokic, Braun, Gordon, so how can they improve the lineup? The Nets are here to give it away. They say we only have a draft pick, which is crazy." Simmons added.
